Writing
Picture a desolate moor, where phantom grooves tear through windswept grass beneath a bleak sky of blanket grey. A lone crow caws a low note, its feathers bristling in the gale. It takes flight, banking away into the gloom. Three figures stand on this moorland, their shining eyes fixed on a bright golden light which spins, in silence, a few metres above and ahead of them. In the centre of this glow hovers an ethereal bird, a kingfisher of exquisite plumage: feathers of living fire blazing against the dismal background. It is no ordinary scene, no ordinary bird. To the minds of the three, the creature speaks, in delicate harmonies as unforgettable as its colours.
